Needlefish

The Needlefish, or “Iglica” in Croatian, is a slender, elongated fish with a long, pointed snout and sharp teeth. It is commonly found near the surface, preying on small fish and crustaceans. Needlefish has a mild taste but is not commonly targeted for commercial fishing. However, in some parts of Croatia, it is enjoyed grilled or fried as a local delicacy.
