Little Tunny

Known as “Luc”, the Little Tunny is a smaller cousin of the Bluefin Tuna, recognized by its streamlined body and wavy markings on its back. It is a highly migratory species, often found in open waters. Little Tunny has a darker, oilier flesh compared to Bluefin Tuna, making it suitable for grilling, smoking, or preserving in olive oil. In Croatia, it is also used to make pâtés and spreads.
